CBD Isolates - Pure CBD
There is no purer form of CBD than CBD isolate. If you prefer your relaxation and wellness sessions to be crystal clear - as in, free of hemp-based compounds — then CBD Isolate is for you. But, what really is CBD isolate? And how can you tell it apart from other types of CBD?
Thanks to the legalization of hemp and its derivatives in 2018, the cannabinoid market is now flush with new and exciting products, from delta 8 and delta 10 to HHC. With all these options, it can be hard to choose just one to stick to.
But before 2018, one cannabinoid ruled them all, and it still does today. CBD is the most popular cannabinoid there is, and there's no better way to enjoy it than in its purest, rawest form.
That's why CBD Mall offers a wide variety of products containing CBD isolate, an unadulterated form of the world's favorite compound!
What Is CBD Isolate?
CBD isolate is, in simple terms, CBD that has been isolated from all other compounds, terpenes, and flavonoids that are also found in hemp. This means that all products marked as CBD isolate contain CBD and CBD only.
The process through which CBD is isolated from all its friends brings about other cannabinoids, such as CBN, CBG, and THCV. While these compounds are also beneficial for health and wellness, most people prefer to use products that only contain CBD.
An important aspect of CBD isolate is that it contains no THC whatsoever. Some CBD products, like full or broad spectrum CBD, may contain trace amounts of other cannabinoids, including THC. Isolating CBD, however, completely gets rid of this interaction and thus the risk for psychoactive effects.
At CBD Mall, we process our CBD isolate using only the most cutting-edge technology available, and our extraction methods are as rigorous as they are consistent. This results in the safest, purest, and highest quality CBD isolate on the market today!
CBD Isolate vs. Full Spectrum: the Breakdown
Now you know the meaning of CBD isolate, but how is it different from other types of CBD (such as full-spectrum CBD)? And why does this distinction matter?
In short, the difference is that CBD isolate contains an isolated form of CBD with no other compounds, while full-spectrum CBD contains trace amounts of other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids found in hemp, including less than 0.3% THC.
If you’re looking for the benefits of CBD alone, you'll want CBD isolate, but if you want a more comprehensive list of benefits, mainly from CBD but also from other cannabinoids, full-spectrum CBD is the way to go.
What’s the Difference Between CBD Isolate and Full Spectrum Products?
CBD isolate products contain only cannabidiol, or CBD, and that's it. No other terpenes, flavonoids, or compounds. Full-spectrum products contain trace amounts of all cannabinoids extracted from raw hemp, including THC.
In full-spectrum products, all cannabinoids work together to amplify and enhance each other's effect, a phenomenon known as the entourage effect. In CBD isolate, however, this process does not occur.

What Are the Benefits of CBD Isolate Products?
CBD isolate products are beneficial for a multitude of reasons. Even though CBD isolate does have some cons, its popularity has continued to surge, and that's due to its many perks!
Firstly, CBD isolate provides numerous wellness and relaxation benefits, including better sleep, stress relief, and even pain management. Additionally, those who wish to reap the benefits of hemp without getting buzzy can use CBD isolate safely and confidently and run absolutely zero risk of experiencing any psychoactive effects.
Fun Fact: While full-spectrum CBD products could potentially show up on a drug test, CBD isolate products never will. This is because full-spectrum CBD contains trace amounts of THC, but CBD isolate does not.
How Does CBD Mall Make CBD Isolate?
At CBD Mall, we extract our CBD isolate in a two-step process. First, we use CO2 to extract high-quality CBD oil from raw hemp. Then, we take it one step further in a process known as winterization, where we freeze the oil at extreme temperatures to separate the isolate from any trace of other compounds.
Step 1: CO2 Extraction
Using extremely high-pressure CO2, our scientists are able to separate the CBD oil from the hemp flower. The resulting extract is a liquid that contains cannabinoids, including CBD.
After the water in the liquid fully evaporates, we're left with full-spectrum CBD oil, meaning that, although CBD oil, this product isn't pure CBD.
This is where things get ice cold.
Step 2: Winterization
Once our full-spectrum CBD is successfully extracted, it's time for winterization. In this process, the CBD oil is mixed with a special solvent and subsequently frozen at extremely low temperatures.
The combination of the freezing process and solvent used forces a powder to separate from the rest of the CBD oil. This powder is exactly what we're looking for: raw and pure CBD, isolated from all other compounds, terpenes, and flavonoids.
We then turn the powder back into oil and infuse it into our CBD isolate products!
Remember, all of our products are made from organically-grown hemp using no GMOs, no carcinogens, and no synthetics. Our CBD isolate products, as well as all others, are then third-party lab tested to ensure safety, purity, and quality.
When you shop at CBD Mall, efficiency and safety are always a guarantee!
